Intermediate A Girls Bronze Medal – Souris 1 – Summerside Int. - 0
The PEISAA Soccer provincials began early Friday afternoon with the Intermediate A Girls bronze medal game between Summerside Intermediate and Souris Regional.  With winds gusting up to 70 km/h, Souris jumped out to a 1-0 lead off a goal from Grace MacAulay.  Souris pressed for more, but came up short for the remainder of the half.  With the wind on their backs, Summerside Int. pressed early, however, could not capitalize.  Souris adjusted to playing against the win and put pressure on Summerside for the remainder of the game.  Summerside pushed for the last couple minutes, however Souris held on for a 1-0 victory.  Souris keeper Tenly Paton got the shutout in net for Souris
Intermediate AA Girls Bronze Medal - Stonepark 3- Birchwood 2 (Pks)
The Intermediate AA Girls Bronze Medal game between Stonepark and Birchwood was an exciting affair.  Birchwood took a 1-0 lead into the half with a goal from Emma Rand.  Stonepark took a 2 – 0 lead mid-way through the second half, against a strong wind when Maria Curley scored.  Birchwood would not sit back, however.  Maria Biswas scored her first of the game late in the second half, and followed up after  a penalty was called against Stonepark.  Biswas converted on the penalty to send the game to Pks.  After teams exchanged goals and a few saves, the 10th shooter sealed the victory for Stonepark.
Intermediate A Boys Bronze Medal – Queen Charlotte 1 –  Stonepark 0 
Stonepark scored early in the second half to take a 1-0 lead.  They would hang on to secure the Bronze Medal with shutout goalkeeping from Landon McGee-Gallant.
Intermediate AA Boys Bronze Medal - Stonepark 1- Francois Buote 0 (Pks)
Stonepark defeated Francois Buote 1-0 in penalty kicks.  The teams battled high winds but could not score in regulation time.  It took all 5 kicks to determine the winner of the Bronze Medal.  Keepers Colin Pendergast from Stonepark and Simon Croucher from Francois Buote had the shutouts for their teams in net.
Intermediate A Girls Gold Medal – Montague 2 – Hernewood - 0
In a defensive-played game, Montague Intermediate scored their first goal by Jorja Carpenter at the 27th minute mark and would take that 1-0 lead into the second half when Carpenter would add a second goal for Montague at the 63rd minute mark.  Evelynn Mellish would keep Hernewood off the board for the shutout and the Gold Medal.
Intermediate AA Girls Gold Medal – Queen Charlotte 2 – East Wiltshire - 0
Queen Charlotte keeper, Camryn Binne would have a shutout performance as Queen Charlotte would score goals by Eva Baventhein and Klody Mazzerole as they would claim the Gold Medal from East Wiltshire.  Both teams played a competitive game having traded several chances.  Izzy Bernard had a strong game in net for East Wiltshire.
 
 
Intermediate A Boys Gold Medal – Hernewood 2 – Kensington Intermediate - 0
Herenwood would score early in the second half after it looked like there would be no scoring as both Keepers, Bentley Whitlock of Hernewood and Kian Gill of KISH held all comers off the board.  Connor Hudson was the Hernewood scorer which would eventually be the game – winner.  Kip Nurse added an insurance marker for Hernewood in the last minute to secure the Gold Medal for the Western team!
Intermediate AA Boys Gold Medal – Queen Charlotte 1 – Birchwood – 0
In the AA Boys Gold Medal game, Quincey MacLennan would score the lone goal a very exciting game.  Both teams carried the play fairly evenly, and Birchwood actually had the better chances as they hit posts and crossbars but just could not get the ball to fall into the net.  Henri Bader had the shut out for Queen Charlotte as Ciaran Connaughton played a solid game in net for Birchwood.
 
Senior A Women Bronze Medal – Bluefield 2 – Three Oaks 1 (PKs)
Bluefield opened the scoring at the 3 minute mark on a goal from Katelynn Peters which stood for the rest of the half.  Seven minutes into the second half, Three Oaks’ Julie Beatscheider beat Bluefield keeper Maven LaVoie.  Teams exchanged chances in the wind- blown field at the Terry Fox Complex, but no more goals were scored.  The game went to penalty kicks and Bluefield made the best of their chances scoring on all chances while Three Oaks were not able to cash in on their shots.
 
Senior A Men Bronze Medal – Charlottetown Rural 1 – Kinkora 0
Charlottetown Rural’s Omar Salman scored at the 27 minute mark and that is all Rural needed to hang on to win the Senior A Men’s Bronze Medal.  Kinkora pushed hard with the wind on their back in the second half, but could not beat Rural’s Keeper Jude Neitz.
 
Senior AAA Women Bronze Medal – Charlottetown Rural – 4, Westisle – 0
Charlottetown Rural scored early in the game to take a 1-0 lead on a goal by Maiya Chaudary, and they did not look back, having scored 2 more goals by Sadie Hansen by the half to take a 3-0 lead into the halftime break.  The second half saw Westisle fight hard, however, Rural’s keeper, Maya Fisher, kept them off the scoreboard.  Chaudary scored another goal midway through the second half to finish the Rural scoring.
 
Senior AAA Men Bronze Medal – Charlottetown Rural 7 – Westisle 1
Charlottetown Rural scored 5 goals in the first half off the feet of Liam Moore, Matthew Rooney, Dalton Gas, Campbell Dunn, and an own goal on their way to a 7-1 victory and the Bronze Medal.  In the second half, Jack Callaghan score 2 more for Rural and Jared Kenan scored late in the game for Westisle to ruin the shutout bid by Rural.
 
Senior A Women Gold Medal – Souris 2 – Charlottetown Rural 0
Souris Spartans scored early in the second half to go up 1-0 after a scoreless first half.  Lexi Carter scored what turned out to be the winning goal and Souris carried most of the play the remainder of the game.  Their Pressure would pay off as an own goal was cored at the 88th minute mark and Kate MacPhee would earn the shutout as Souris would win the Gold Medal.
 
Senior A Men Gold Medal – Col. Gray 2 – Souris 0
Col Gray and Souris played a scoreless first half in the Senior Men’s Division soccer provincials.  Souris’ keeper Gage MacIntyre and Gray’s Lincoln Scott were up to the task of keeping the ball out of the net.  However, at the 67-minute mark, Gray’s Mikha Toro broke the tie, which would prove to be the winning goal.  With 2 minutes left on the clock, Toro added an insurance marker to seal the Gold Medal for Col. Gray.
 
Senior AAA Women Gold Medal – Bluefield – 1, TOSH – 0
The lower-seeded Bluefield AAA Women defeated Three Oaks 1-0 to repeat as Provincial Champions.  Bluefield’s Lyla Arsenault broke the score with a goal at the 19-minute mark after squeezing the ball through the legs of Tosh Keeper Mila Mahar.  Both teams carried the play evenly throughout the game, however, Bluefield Keeper Josie MacLean was able to keep TOSH off the board. 
 
Senior AAA Men Bronze Medal – Bluefield – 3, Col. Gray – 0
Bluefield came into the game as the top seed team by 1 point over Col. Gray in the regular season.  The Bobcats were determined to continue to be the number one team and scored at the 13 minute mark off the foot of Johnny Mahar.  The game was a well-contested match as both teams had their chances.  However, Bluefield’s Owen Arsenault and Gray’s Ethan Goessels stopped the rest of the attempts in the first half.  With Bluefield up 1-0 at the start of the second half, James Toombs would score a second goal at the 58 minute mark to give the Bobcats some insurance.  With Col. Gray pushing to score and have a chance to win, Bluefield took advantage of a pushing-forward Gray team and Jonathan Kent scored another Bluefield goal at the 77 minute mark to go up 3-0.  Col. Gray were not going down easy as Seth Lawless would put the Colonels on the board with 5 minutes left in the game. That would be how the game would finish and the Bobcats stealing the Provincial Championship from the defending champions.
